TODAY, JUST AS IN THE PAST, A FAMILY'S PASSION
Summer 1975: two young lovers, Vittoriano and Lidia, gather their savings and courage to bring their dream to life – a restaurant where one could taste genuine food and feel at home. Their journey begins on Via Sarzanese, in the district of "Dogana", where duties were paid. Years pass blissfully, and the restaurant gains well-deserved acclaim. Yet, gradually, the desire to seek, or perhaps create, an even more special place, immersed in greenery, starts growing within them. 2011: the family relocates La Dogana to its present location, on the amazing hills of Camaiore, overlooking the sea. The name remains the same... as it should be!
Today, papŕ Vittoriano is no longer with us, but his teachings and essence permeate every corner. Carrying on the family legacy are mamma Lidia and their son, Daniele, who have accompanied the classic tradition dishes with more innovative and refined courses. They are supported by a consolidated group of professionals, including chefs, sommeliers, maîtres, and passionate young individuals.
